About the Role
A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join their supportive primary environment. This fulfilling opportunity involves leading learning for small groups of pupils, each with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). You will be responsible for creatively adapting the national curriculum to meet diverse individual needs, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive. Close collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families is central to this role's success. We are open to applications from experienced teachers at MPS/UPS level, as well as enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs). This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent engagements, all with competitive daily rates ranging from £150 to £250, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the specific learning styles of pupils with EHCPs.
* Adapt the primary national curriculum to ensure accessibility and challenge for all learners.
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to maximise pupil progress.
* Maintain strong communication channels with families, providing regular updates on pupil development and celebrating achievements.
* Conduct ongoing assessment of pupil progress, setting ambitious individual targets and monitoring outcomes diligently.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a genuine passion for special educational needs.
* Bring experience working with primary-aged children who have diverse learning requirements.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire small groups of pupils.
* A dedicated team player, keen to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
* Committed to continuous professional development and best practices in SEN education.
* An Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator at MPS/UPS level is encouraged to apply.
