Dunbar Education is recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to start ideally from September or October half term.

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a dedicated team. The successful teacher will play a crucial role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary education, delivering an engaging and comprehensive curriculum that promotes academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Implement school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Year 6 pupils.
- Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and student success.
