Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic lessons that motivate and challenge Year 6 pupils.
- Provide a balanced curriculum that promotes both academic achievement and personal development.
- Prepare students for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring high standards of progress and achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enrich the educational journey of all pupils.
- Actively participate in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Year 6 or Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- A genuine passion for developing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning.
- Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging with parents and the wider school community.
