We are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join one of our Ofsted 'Good' primary schools in Bedfordshire that we proudly represent!

About the Role:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing young minds during a crucial stage in their educational journey. You will be responsible for crafting and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that adhere to the national curriculum standards. Your role will involve creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and motivated to learn. Through effective teaching practices and a supportive approach, you will help each child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for all pupils.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity, and a love of learning.
  • Continuously assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support where necessary to help every child succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians, updating them on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Keep accurate records and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Attributes We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a preference for experience with Year 2 pupils.
  • In-depth understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
  • Strong classroom management abilities to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported and valued.
  • Dedication to continuous professional growth and a proactive approach to personal development.
