About the Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of young learners. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education and well-being.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young children with a patient and caring approach.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
