Principal Consultant

About George

George works with Primary schools, teachers and support staff throughout Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire on Day2Day, long term and permanent positions.

Having joined in 2019, George is a huge part of the Dunbar Education team and the incredible service he offers his schools and candidates has led him to win the Consultant of the year award in 2019 and 2020. Prior to joining Dunbar Experienced within recruitment, George has worked within the Medical sector for 4 years. George has a great eye for detail and is an extremely conscientious person in both his personal and professional life.

Outside of office hours George loves to spend time with his family and his girlfriend. In a former life he was a semi-professional goalkeeper, so working with George you are definitely in safe hands (sorry, that was awful)

In his own words.....

What I love about recruitment are the relationships I build with both my candidates and schools. Also, the feeling of securing someone a new role and knowing you have made a difference helping them and the school (You can't beat that feeling).

My favourite quote is “It always seems impossible until it's done" - Nelson Mandela

If I was to win the lottery tomorrow, I would start a motivational speaking company. I love to see people reach their full potential! I am a great believer in uncovering strengths and utilising people to make them even stronger. Would love to do this if I won the lottery.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be telepathy.

The best advice someone has given me is Just because you fail once doesn't mean you'll fail again. Keep trying, hold on, and always trust yourself, because if you don't who will?
