Position: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
Location: SE1, South East London
Type: Agency position (Temporary/Long-term)
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
💡 Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing SEN provision within the school
Working closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies
Developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN
Monitoring the progress of students and adapting support plans as needed
Ensuring all staff are well-informed and equipped to provide the best support for each student
🌟 Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
National Award for SEN Coordination (desirable but not essential)
Proven experience as a SENCO or working in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of SEN best practices and legislation
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passionate about providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment
