Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support students in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to develop individualized learning plans for students with SEMH.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to studentsand parents.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Non-negotiables:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching in the UK
- Experience working with children with SEMH
- Previous experience managing behaviour with pupils
