Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: KS2 Class, Bedfordshire
Start Date: September
Hours: Full-time

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to support children's learning and development? Dunbar Education is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in a KS2 class, starting in September, at a welcoming primary school in Bedfordshire.

Role Overview: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting the teacher with classroom management and maintaining pupil behavior.
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS2.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for education and helping children succeed.
