Exciting Opportunity for a Science Teacher in Towcester!

We are looking for a Full-Time Science Teacher in Towcester,Northamptonshire to inspire and build confidence in students aged 11 to 19 facing various social, emotional, and mental health challenges. If you are passionate about promoting student progress and well-being while fostering positive relationships, we have an incredible opportunity for you!



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create science lessons that enhance student learning and progress.
  • Set Clear Learning Objectives: Establish specific goals tailored to students' needs.
  • Develop Subject Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge to help students understand essential concepts through continuous assessment.
  • Enhance Reading Skills: Focus on improving students' fluency, confidence, and enjoyment in reading.
  • Maintain a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a dynamic and safe space while managing behavior according to school policies.
  • Monitor Student Progress: Track and report on student achievements, contributing to school activities and responsibilities.
  • Engage in Professional Development: Commit to ongoing growth and participate in performance management, supporting students across various locations as needed.


Key Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and an Educational Degree
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
