Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.

  • Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their best.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science department's curriculum.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behavior.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Specialization in Science, with a strong understanding of the subject at the secondary level.

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).

  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
