The Role: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and well-being of young learners in the early years setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to children who may need additional help in certain areas of their learning journey.
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration among early years students.
- Monitoring and recording children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents/guardians as necessary.
- Supporting the development of essential life skills, including communication, cooperation, and problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous, but a genuine passion for early childhood development is essential.
- An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and the ability to apply it effectively in the classroom.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with young children in a patient and supportive manner.

- Relevant qualifications or training related to early childhood education are beneficial but not mandatory.
