Dan is a Co-Director at Dunbar Education, so as well as helping the schools in Beds, Herts and North London to find their ideal teachers, his role is also in leading the team.
Dan has worked within Education recruitment for over 10 years and in this time has helped hundreds of teachers to find long term and permanent roles.
Dan is a big Leeds fan, although he also has a very large soft spot for Barcelona and has seen them 10 times in recent years. With both of his teams currently near the top of their leagues Dan is enjoying life at the moment. As well as being a football fan, Dan is also a YouTube sensation as a player, being the all-time leading goal scorer for the widely followed Hashtag United!

SEN Teachers and Support Staff
Caitlin leads the Dunbar SEN team and has made a huge impact within Dunbar since joining in 2018.
As well as leading the team, Caitlin’s role is to work closely with SEN schools and Alternative Provisions to find the best teachers and support staff.
Caitlin is one of the brightest lights in our office and comes in at 7am with a big smile on her face. She has been cold for the entirety of her life and rocks a hat and scarf during the height of summer.
In her spare time, Caitlin likes to jump out of planes for charity and socialise with friends and family.
George works with schools and teachers in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Part of the Dunbar Education team, George’s focus is on Day2Day, long term and permanent placements.
Experienced within recruitment, George has worked within the Medical sector for 4 years and made the move to Education with Dunbar in 2019. George has a great eye for detail and is an extremely conscientious person in both his personal and professional life.
Outside of office hours George’s loves to spend time with his family and his girlfriend. In a former life he was a semi-professional goalkeeper, so working with George you are definitely in safe hands (sorry, that was awful)
Maddie is our super star Team Leader here at Dunbar Education. She works in partnership with local schools by sourcing the best talent and managing supply needs, finding education professionals their perfect role and supporting an amazing team of Education Recruitment Consultants in their development and career. Maddie has over 6 years of Education Recruitment working with primary schools and early years settings across Northamptonshire. Before this she travelled the world working as a Holiday Representative.
Maddie loves helping and meeting new people and wanted a career where she could really make a difference and utilise her skills. Her family also have a background in education, so the interest has always been there!
Maddie regularly visits schools and works with our candidates closely, even after their placements and goes above and beyond to give an outstanding service.
In her spare time, Maddie likes to run and ran a marathon and raised £500 for charity. She likes to follow this up by drinking lots of Prosecco!
Sam is a Senior consultant with 7 years of practical experience within Recruitment, mainly focussing on Finance and HR. He is excited to make a move to the Education world and will be covering Primary and Secondary vacancies in Kent and South East London.
Sam started recruitment fresh after university and has not looked back since. He has always enjoyed making lasting relationships with clients and candidates and taking pride in making the right match.
Sam has a great eye for detail and will find time to give people advice on their job searches. Outside of work, he likes to spend most of his time listening to music (mainly 80’s and disco!) and enjoys taking a break to do some cooking, reading and travelling.
Asad works within the Essex and East London team, helping to source new candidates for long term and permanent roles.
In addition to finding new applicants Asad also ensures that we provide a quality service to everyone who applies through Dunbar Education, offering advice on everything to CV writing and the process of applying for suitable roles.
Outside of the office Asad loves Music and fashion and a good sleep (averaging 10 hours plus a day).
Sophie joined Dunbar Education in 2019, having completed a B.A. in Primary Education with QTS in Liverpool and her NQT year in a Buckinghamshire Primary school.
Being a fully qualified teacher and having experienced life in the classroom, Sophie is perfectly placed to help teachers through the journey of finding a new role. Her experience on both sides of the fence means that she in an invaluable member of the Dunbar team.
Sophie has become an integral part of the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and North London team and although only having joined us in September 2019, is already big part of the Dunbar family.
Jack is our Recruitment Consultant who covers South West London and Surrey; working closely with Primary and Secondary schools. Jack always knew he wanted to join a sales and customer focused role which happened to be recruitment – 7 years later, he has never looked back! Jack started his career in recruitment in 2013, sourcing the best candidates through the selection process. He loves the ‘buzz’ of placing a candidate and knowing he works in the Education sector with people who essentially change, and impact lives makes it even more rewarding.
The last 6 years, Jack has played a big part in organising charity golf days for Shooting Stars Charity; proving his organisational skills as this has sometimes been difficult as he cannot play golf himself!
Jack is a big sports enthusiast and Football is his passion. Although it is sometimes hard to support QPR, he finds himself doing regular trips home and away to support them

Jazmine is our School Partnership Executive here at Dunbar who works closely with schools and teachers in the Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire area. Jazmine has a huge 9 years’ experience within recruitment and an expert within the Education field as 7 of those years are based in Education. Outside of work, Jazmine loves being a Mum and enjoys food and fitness. She says “When I’m not spending time with my little boy, I’m stuffing my face and trying to burn some of that off in the gym!”
Shaynie is our travel Guru here at Dunbar after working within the travel industry for 8 years (she tries to go on 5 holidays a year!) Through this role she is an expert at building rapport by working with clients and customers and really understanding their requirements to establish the best of outcomes. Shaynie is a consultant who focuses to source candidates who are looking to fulfil their new career within Primary Schools in the Northampton region. She loves the change into recruitment as she enjoys the fast-paced environment and communication with others.
Shaynie is a hard worker and she was proud of progressing from apprentice to consultant to Manager in her previous roles (watch this space!)
She recently purchased her first home with her dog Bella the Pomsky! They love to get out on long walks and her family has recently launched a charity for SATb2 UK.
George is one of our Recruitment Consultants who is responsible for both candidate and business-related recruitment based in Berkshire and West London. He has the flair of attracting and onboarding new clients and filling said roles with the best talent out there!
George has a background of IT Recruitment, working in the industry for 2 years and he says he was always destined to work in recruitment; building relationships with both clients and candidates.
He enjoys working at Dunbar Education with likeminded people inside and outside of the office who pride themselves on high quality care.
Outside of work, George sponsors children at a well-known charity based here in Milton Keynes.
He also is a keen gym attendee and loves travelling, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
Hannah is a Senior Consultant here at Dunbar Education with over 10 years’ experience in management and sales and nearly 3 years’ experience in recruitment. Hannah has such strong people skills and wants to put those into practice within Education after working as a regional /account manager for 2 and a half years. If you are based in East London and Essex – Hannah is your point of contact and ready to put all that experience into place and loves building relationships.
One of Hannah’s biggest achievements is starting her career as an apprentice and within 2 years was in management – very committed and hardworking! (As she will be to all her clients and candidates!)
In her spare time, she loves to travel, and even volunteered on a game reserve in South Africa. If you invite her on a night out, she is there – showing of her “chicken dance”!
HR and Social Media
Leah is a bit of an all-rounder within the team here at Dunbar! She is assists the directors and consultants with ad hoc tasks, manages all HR related function, manages all social media platforms for Dunbar Education and iCan Teach UK and also manages any office supplies/requirements the team may need! Previously working in HR and NHS recruitment, she was also an SEN teaching assistant and Drama teacher in a secondary school back in the day, so understands the education field well!
Some random facts about Leah – she has recorded an album in a band and played the Garage in London. She has also appeared on Songs of Praise on the BBC! She has a first-class degree in Media Performance where she directed a theatre for education piece for children and is not afraid of getting in front of a camera.
In her spare time, she loves music, going to gigs, enjoys travelling and has an unhealthy obsession with leopard print. She also loves exploring nature (in her leopard print walking boots of course!)
Saarah is our Compliance Administrator here at Dunbar with over 3 years of experience working in compliance within Education Recruitment. She has a very good eye for detail and ensures the whole team’s compliance is 100% correct and up to date! (Thanks, Saarah! We all know how important this is!)
Before diving into the world of compliance, Saarah has worked in the recruitment world for 8 years. Her first recruitment job was at an education recruitment agency all the way back in 2012!
She loves the responsibility of her role and communicating with teachers to gather relevant documents, so they are fully compliant before being placed into a role.
Saarah’s notable work achievements were during her first few weeks as an Account Manager at a previous company, she managed to place two senior roles for £5000 each!
In her spare time, Saarah is very creative and enjoys making and decorating candles, canvases and guestbooks – all things artistic!
