About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring individual to deliver exceptional Science education, with a strong specialism in Chemistry, across the secondary curriculum. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons to secondary pupils.
* Assess pupil progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Foster a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages scientific curiosity.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department to enhance curriculum delivery.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school community, promoting a positive ethos.
* Utilise a range of teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs and abilities.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire young minds.
* Possess excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical understanding to effectively teach secondary Chemistry.
* Be an enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner, committed to raising pupil attainment.
* Exhibit strong classroom management skills and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
* Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced colleagues (MPS/UPS).
