About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across the secondary curriculum, catering to diverse learning needs.
* Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative departmental initiatives and resources.
* Participate actively in school-wide professional development opportunities and collaborative planning sessions.
* Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in a Science discipline.
* Demonstrate a passion for Science and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
* Possess experience teaching Science at secondary level, suitable for ECTs, MPS, and UPS candidates.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering positive student relationships.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Show a genuine desire to continually develop your teaching practice and embrace new pedagogical approaches.
