About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join an inclusive school on a long-term, permanent basis. We are seeking an inspiring educator to begin in September or sooner, fostering creativity and practical skills among our secondary phase students. This role involves delivering engaging lessons and contributing significantly to a vibrant curriculum within a supportive department.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment conducive to practical learning.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the DT curriculum, embracing innovation.
* Inspire students to develop their practical skills and creative thinking abilities.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental goals.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking your first role.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Design Technology and its diverse applications.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
* Be able to teach across various DT specialisms, inspiring all ability levels.
* Show a proactive approach to professional development and wider school life.
* Be a collaborative team player with strong communication abilities.
