Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across the secondary key stages.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons effectively, ensuring progress for all students.
• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, with a focus on Physics and Chemistry.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental success.
• Participate actively in school life and extra-curricular science initiatives.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong academic background in Physics, ideally with a Chemistry specialism.
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching and inspiring young people in science.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive start, or an experienced educator at MPS/UPS.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress.
• Show a proactive approach to professional development and collaboration.
