About the Role
A supportive school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their vibrant secondary department on a long-term, permanent contract. This exciting opportunity is available for a September 2026 start, inviting a professional to inspire students across all key stages with a passion for scientific discovery and critical thinking within a mainstream educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting to diverse learning needs.
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to promote academic progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and encouraged to participate.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a dynamic Science curriculum.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
* Uphold the school's high standards for behaviour and academic achievement.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or be in the process of obtaining it.
* Possess a strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across various specialisms.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to begin your journey, or an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for Science education and the ability to motivate young learners.
* Show a collaborative spirit and a willingness to contribute positively to a supportive team.
