Key Responsibilities
• Deliver outstanding and engaging Science lessons across key stages, stimulating intellectual curiosity.
• Plan, prepare, and assess stimulating schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Monitor pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to share best practice and contribute to curriculum enrichment.
• Actively participate in the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and pupil development.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in a Science subject.
• Possess a genuine passion for Science and a commitment to making the subject accessible and exciting.
• Demonstrate the ability to teach Science across the secondary age range, inspiring pupils of all abilities.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering an atmosphere of respect and challenge.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with pupils, staff, and parents.
