We are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join a supportive school environment in Shropshire, starting in September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to secure a permanent, long-term contract within a mainstream secondary setting. The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons across all key stages, paid to scale, fostering a love for discovery in young minds. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere for all learners.
* Contribute actively to the development of the Science department's curriculum.
* Participate fully in the wider life and extracurricular activities of the school.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and uphold school policies consistently.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong specialism in any Science discipline.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Science to secondary pupils.
* Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Show a willingness to collaborate within a dedicated team of educators.
