Key Responsibilities
• Effectively supervise classes across a range of subjects during short-term teacher absences.
• Ensure students remain focused on pre-set work and learning tasks provided by the absent teacher.
• Implement established school behaviour policies consistently to maintain a calm and orderly classroom.
• Foster a positive and respectful learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement.
• Report any significant issues or concerns regarding student welfare or behaviour to the appropriate staff members promptly.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues, contributing to a harmonious school community.
About You
• Proven experience working with secondary-aged young people in an educational setting.
• Demonstrable ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and staff.
