About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inspiring DT lessons across various key stages.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring effective feedback for improvement.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the Design and Technology curriculum and departmental resources.
• Engage in extracurricular activities, enriching pupils' experiences and fostering their talents in DT.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour in line with school policies.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in Design and Technology.
• Possess a strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for all aspects of DT.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Be committed to your own professional development and eager to implement innovative teaching practices.
• Have the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities.
• Be a collaborative team player, willing to contribute positively to the school community.
