Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons across the secondary age range, incorporating Chemistry concepts where appropriate.
• Plan and prepare stimulating schemes of work that foster scientific curiosity and understanding.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Contribute actively to the development and enhancement of the science curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.
• Engage in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives to enrich the educational experience.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Biology or a related scientific field, ideally with a Chemistry specialism.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and the ability to inspire young minds.
• Exhibit excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills appropriate for secondary education.
• Possess effective classroom management techniques to create an optimal learning atmosphere.
• Be dedicated to promoting high academic standards and fostering student achievement.
• Show a proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
