About the Role
Join a progressive secondary school in the East of England as a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher, commencing in September 2026. This long-term, permanent opportunity involves fostering a passion for DT across Key Stages within a vibrant and innovative mainstream learning environment. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across the secondary age range.
* Develop and implement creative schemes of work that inspire student innovation and problem-solving.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous development.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
* Utilise a range of teaching methodologies to cater for diverse learning styles and ensure inclusivity.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Design and Technology.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to embark on your professional journey or an experienced educator at MPS/UPS level.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for your subject, inspiring creativity and practical skills in all pupils.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Show a strong commitment to raising attainment and supporting the holistic development of every student.
* Be a collaborative team player, keen to contribute to departmental growth and school-wide initiatives.
