About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a thriving school located in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, long-term position, commencing in September or sooner, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys within a supportive and dynamic learning environment. The role involves delivering engaging and high-quality Physics lessons across the secondary phase, with the potential to contribute to Chemistry teaching for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver stimulating Physics lessons to students across the secondary key stages.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
* Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science department's curriculum and resources.
* Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and passion for scientific principles.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the learning experience.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
* Possess a strong subject knowledge of Physics, with the ability to teach up to A-level and an advantageous specialism in Chemistry.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage diverse learners.
* Be passionate about inspiring students and fostering a curiosity for the sciences.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a team.
* Be an ECT, MPS, or UPS level teacher, eager to contribute to a successful department.
