Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils across the primary curriculum, adapting to individual learning needs and styles.
• Assist the class teacher with the preparation of resources and the organisation of learning activities.
• Deliver targeted one-to-one or small group interventions, including SEN support, to enhance pupil progress.
• Cultivate a positive, safe, and engaging atmosphere that encourages active participation and independent learning.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive pupil support.
• Monitor and record pupil achievements and well-being, providing constructive feedback to teachers.
About You
• You possess a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience.
• You have a genuine enthusiasm for working with primary school children and a commitment to their educational journey.
• You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils and colleagues.
• You are a proactive team player, able to work independently and as part of a dynamic classroom environment.
