Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Plan, prepare, and adapt engaging schemes of work and lesson materials to meet diverse learning needs.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of all students.
* Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the English curriculum within the department.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives as appropriate.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in English.
* Possess a demonstrable passion for English language and literature, able to convey this enthusiasm to students.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
