About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to learn.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care duties.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent high standards.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in English or a related subject.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for English language and literature, inspiring pupils with your enthusiasm.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning for all abilities.
* Be a reflective practitioner, committed to continuous professional development and personal growth.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Whether an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced professional (MPS/UPS), you will be keen to make a significant impact.
