Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support to primary pupils experiencing SEMH challenges.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
* Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships with individual pupils.
* Mentor children to develop their social and emotional regulation skills.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities that meet diverse pupil needs.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to daily challenges.
* Show a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Bring previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly SEMH.
