Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver highly engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Cultivate strong, therapeutic relationships to foster a supportive and trusting learning environment.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, promoting positive choices and self-regulation.
* Assess pupil progress meticulously, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning targets.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Contribute positively to the school's inclusive ethos, actively participating in wider school life.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
* Hold specific experience working with pupils presenting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, ideally in a specialist setting.
* Exhibit exceptional resilience, patience, and a truly empathetic approach to challenging situations.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to inspire and motivate young learners, fostering a love for learning.
* Be adept at creating a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced professionals at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
