A forward-thinking primary school, specialising in SEN provision within a vibrant London setting, is actively seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This crucial role involves providing dedicated support to pupils with complex learning needs, including those with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You will work both 1:1 and with small groups of children, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We are open to discussing various contract options, from long-term and permanent positions to daily supply and short-term opportunities, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex learning needs.
* Implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) to meet specific pupil requirements.
* Assist children presenting with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language challenges.
* Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning atmosphere for all students.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and therapists to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Support the general well-being and personal care needs of pupils as required.
