About the Role
A flourishing school in the West Midlands is seeking an inspiring Physics Teacher to join its vibrant Science department on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver challenging, engaging physics lessons that stretch and support all learners.
* Inspire a deep understanding and appreciation for scientific principles, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.
* Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to explore complex scientific concepts.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of a rigorous science curriculum, with a focus on physics specialism.
* Assess student progress rigorously and provide constructive feedback to accelerate learning and overcome academic hurdles.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and collectively enhance the department's educational provision.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching Physics at secondary level (ECTs are welcome to apply, as are experienced MPS/UPS teachers).
* Exhibit an unwavering passion for physics, capable of translating complex ideas into accessible and stimulating learning experiences.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities, fostering a genuine love for scientific inquiry.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace innovative teaching methodologies.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Be an adaptable and resilient educator, eager to contribute positively to the wider school community and face new challenges.
