We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to join a supportive school in the East of England, specifically within the Bedfordshire area. This pivotal role involves providing targeted educational support across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring all primary aged pupils can achieve their full potential. You will be instrumental in delivering focused interventions designed to bridge learning gaps and accelerate progress in core subjects, offering a vital contribution to pupil development. We welcome applications for flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent engagements, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver highly effective, differentiated intervention programmes for small groups and individual pupils.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, adapting strategies to meet evolving learning needs.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers to integrate intervention strategies with classroom learning objectives.
* Monitor and record the impact of interventions, providing clear feedback on pupil achievement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
* Contribute to the wider school community, sharing best practice in supporting pupil attainment.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within a primary setting.
* You have a proven track record of successfully delivering targeted academic interventions.
* Your pedagogical expertise allows you to differentiate learning effectively for diverse abilities.
* You are an excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* You exhibit a genuine passion for unlocking the potential in every child and fostering a love of learning.
