A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their supportive team. This pivotal role involves overseeing classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. We are open to discussions regarding a range of contract types, from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and permanent opportunities, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
* Deliver pre-planned work to students, ensuring tasks are completed as directed.
* Uphold the school's high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
* Foster a productive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* Effectively manage classroom resources and equipment during lessons.
* Communicate any significant issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members promptly.

* You possess strong experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and behavioural guidance skills.
* You are adept at building rapport with students and inspiring engagement.
* You communicate clearly and effectively with both students and staff.
