About the Role
An ambitious school in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving department on a permanent basis from September 2026. This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to inspire secondary pupils across the full science curriculum, fostering a love for discovery and critical thinking. You will be instrumental in shaping the academic journeys of young learners within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and whole-school events, enriching the pupil experience.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or be an Early Career Teacher.
* Possess a genuine passion for Science and its effective communication to young people.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Be an organised and proactive educator with a commitment to continuous professional development.
* Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared educational goals.
