Key Responsibilities
• Deliver dynamic and challenging Biology lessons across key stages, including GCSE and A-Level.
• Design and implement engaging practical experiments to deepen understanding of scientific concepts.
• Assess student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Science curriculum, particularly within Biology and Chemistry.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning and respect.
• Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives to support student welfare and achievement.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field, ideally with a Chemistry specialism.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for your subject, capable of inspiring students of all abilities.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an effective learning environment.
• Be a highly organised and adaptable professional, eager to contribute to a collaborative departmental team.
• Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), at Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), you will be driven to achieve excellence.
