About the Role
This exciting opportunity invites a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a highly regarded school in Bedfordshire. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals available for a variety of contracts, from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term or even permanent positions, commencing as soon as possible. The role involves managing classroom activities and ensuring a productive learning environment across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. This position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, reflecting the importance of this vital role within the school community.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively supervise students during lessons, ensuring engagement with set work.
* Deliver pre-prepared materials and instructions clearly to classes across the secondary phase.
* Maintain a positive and focused learning environment, upholding the school's behavioural policies.
* Actively promote student participation and support individual learning needs where appropriate.
* Report any student welfare or behavioural concerns to the relevant pastoral team members.
* Oversee classroom resources and ensure the learning space is left tidy for subsequent lessons.

* You possess strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students and staff.
* You have demonstrable experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
* Your approach to behaviour management is positive, firm, and consistent.
* You are adaptable and proactive, able to quickly assimilate new information and adjust to different classroom dynamics.
* You exhibit professionalism and reliability, consistently maintaining high standards.
* You are passionate about supporting student learning and contributing to a thriving school atmosphere.
