This vital role involves supporting secondary students on the autism spectrum, helping them to navigate their school day effectively. This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent arrangements, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students on the autism spectrum within a specialist setting.
* Facilitate effective social communication opportunities for pupils throughout the school day.
* Proactively manage and respond to individual students' sensory needs and requirements.
* Support students in accessing a broad and balanced curriculum across various subjects.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
