About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to enrich its vibrant early years team within a private day nursery. Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and development.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to their individual learning plans and next steps.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
• Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of all children in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Assist with personal care routines, promoting independence and good hygiene practices among the children.

About You
• Possess a genuine passion for early childhood development and education.
• Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years) or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Show initiative, creativity, and adaptability when responding to the dynamic needs of a nursery setting.
• Committed to continuous professional development and upholding best practice in safeguarding.
• Have a patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners through their early years.
