This vital role involves supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), working both 1:1 and in small groups. You will engage with children facing complex learning needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, fostering their development. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with an immediate start available. The daily rate for this rewarding opportunity ranges from £90 to £115.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex learning needs.
* Assist in the effective implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for individual students.
* Support children presenting with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging pupil engagement and progress.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other specialists to enhance educational outcomes.
* Adapt resources and activities to meet diverse learning styles and abilities within the primary phase.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with pupils who have complex learning difficulties.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with students.
