Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent and dedicated 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex needs.
* Implement bespoke interventions aligned with the pupil’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
* Facilitate access to the curriculum, adapting materials and approaches as required.
* Actively promote and encourage the pupil's independence across all school activities.
* Develop crucial life skills, preparing the pupil for future success.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, the SENCo, and other professionals.
About You
* Possess significant experience supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of EHCPs and their practical application.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Hold strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Are committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
* Show initiative and adaptability, responding positively to evolving needs.
