We are currently seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to enrich our primary phase specialist SEN provision. This vital, long-term permanent role involves directly supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. A daily rate of £95 to £120 is offered, with the successful candidate able to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-on-one and group support to pupils with PMLD.
* Assist with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and respect for every child.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities tailored to individual pupil requirements.
* Effectively implement individual education and therapy programmes under guidance.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to support holistic development.
* Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and positive learning atmosphere for all.

* You possess proven experience supporting children or young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach defines your professional character.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
