About the Role
A well-established school in the East of England is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance to a secondary pupil. This crucial role involves supporting a young individual with complex needs, ensuring their full access to the curriculum. You will be instrumental in fostering independence and developing essential life skills, working closely with the pupil on their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets. We are considering candidates for long-term, daily supply, and permanent contract options, offering flexibility in commitment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary pupil with complex needs.
* Implement personalised strategies to effectively meet EHCP targets.
* Facilitate the pupil's access to the secondary curriculum across various subjects.
* Promote the development of independence and essential life skills.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning experience.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to the team.

About You
* Proven experience supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs is essential.
