About the Role
Within a innovative school dedicated to exceptional SEN provision, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Support Assistant. This vital long-term, permanent role, starting as soon as possible, involves providing specialist support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a bespoke provision. You will contribute significantly to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary-aged pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
* Assist with personal care requirements, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance pupil development.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes under the guidance of specialists.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals to deliver a holistic curriculum.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and planning.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with PMLD or complex SEN.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils is essential.
* You are adept at fostering positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute positively to a dedicated team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
