About the Role
A flourishing primary school in the vibrant Maidenhead area is seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team. This rewarding role involves providing essential classroom support across various year groups, with a particular focus on assisting pupils with Special Educational Needs. We are open to discussions regarding flexible contract options, including daily supply, short-term, long-term, and permanent placements, designed to suit the right candidate. You will play a crucial part in fostering a positive learning environment and contributing to the overall development of young learners. A competitive daily rate of £95 - £110 is offered, with an immediate start available for successful applicants.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, aiding their educational progress.
* Assist the class teacher with the preparation and organisation of learning resources.
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs, adapting activities to meet diverse requirements.
* Encourage positive behaviour and foster a respectful, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of pupil progress, providing valuable feedback.
* Supervise pupils during lessons and at break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.

About You
* You possess previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role within a primary setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development is essential.
* You demonstrate an understanding of various Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build strong rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare is paramount.
