Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across the secondary curriculum to diverse abilities.

• Contribute to the continuous development of departmental schemes of work and stimulating resources.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment that encourages participation.
• Participate actively in extracurricular activities that enrich the English curriculum and student experience.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching strategies.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in English or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate a profound passion for English language, literature, and its power to shape understanding.
• Possess the ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students, nurturing their academic growth.
• Show excellent classroom management, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to teaching.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice within your teaching.
