This ambitious school in North London is seeking a passionate SEN Class Teacher to join its primary phase team immediately. We are looking for dedicated educators for various contract options, including permanent, long-term, short-term, or daily supply arrangements. The role involves teaching small groups of primary pupils, each with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), adapting the national curriculum to meet their unique needs. You will work closely with highly skilled teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support and development for every child.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver inspiring and differentiated lessons to primary pupils with diverse special educational needs.
* Skillfully adapt the national curriculum to align with individual EHCP targets and learning styles.
* Cultivate a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including TAs, therapists, and parents.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress meticulously, contributing to regular EHCP reviews and updates.
* Implement creative and evidence-based teaching strategies to engage and support pupil learning.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within primary education.
* Prior experience working with pupils with a range of special educational needs, particularly those with EHCPs, is essential.
