About the Role
An exceptional school within the South East is actively seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision. This vital role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex needs, fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. You will play a crucial part in assisting with adapted curriculum delivery and empowering young people to develop greater independence. We are looking for individuals available for a variety of contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £90 to £115. Immediate starts are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils facing a range of complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the implementation of adapted learning strategies and individual education plans within the classroom.
* Encourage and facilitate the development of pupils' independence and essential life skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.
* Monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to inform future planning.
* Support pupils with their social and emotional development, promoting positive interactions.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex special educational needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an SEN setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport.
* Be proactive, resilient, and adaptable to various classroom situations and individual needs.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEN pupils (desirable).
* Show a commitment to promoting an inclusive ethos and fostering a positive learning experience.
