This pivotal role involves working within a specialist environment, focusing on social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be instrumental in cultivating therapeutic relationships with pupils and adeptly managing challenging behaviours, while consistently delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. We are actively seeking professionals for immediate starts, with opportunities ranging from long-term placements and daily supply to permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £150 - £250.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver a stimulating curriculum specifically adapted for primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all children.
* Proactively implement therapeutic and restorative behaviour management techniques.
* Establish meaningful and trusting relationships that support pupil well-being and progress.
* Assess individual pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and tailored support plans.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive pupil care.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant for primary education.
* Demonstrate proven experience working with primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Exhibit exceptional skills in behaviour management, employing patient and consistent
