About the Role
A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Supply Teacher for immediate daily and short-term assignments. This pivotal role involves providing essential classroom coverage across a diverse range of adapted curriculum areas within a specialist secondary SEN setting, ensuring continuous learning for pupils with complex needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining educational continuity and fostering a positive learning atmosphere during periods of staff absence.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the varied learning styles within a specialist SEN secondary environment.
* Expertly adapt curriculum content and teaching methodologies to meet the individual educational plans of pupils.
* Effectively manage classroom dynamics, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils at all times, adhering strictly to school policies and procedures.
* Collaborate proactively with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil engagement and progress.
* Provide consistent and effective cover, maintaining the quality of education during absence periods.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) in the UK.
* Possess demonstrable experience teaching within a specialist SEN secondary school setting, addressing diverse learning needs.
* Exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience when transitioning between different classes and curriculum areas.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, capable of fostering positive behaviour and engagement.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of pupils with special educational needs.
* Be highly reliable and professional, ready to respond to varied daily and short-term supply opportunities.
